We’re off!

Weve made it to Oslo! Cloudy and a bit of rain but livable.

Thankfully after Tuesday’s drama all went smoothly. Lots to watch on the entertainment system (Holy Day, Devil wears Prada 2 - fell asleep but fairly predictable- and a couple of series of Sanditon) and we spent the night in a hotel near Terminal 3.

Friday’s flight to Oslo not too long but it took almost as long to get through immigration - they were doing the photo and fingerprinting and despite there being an abundance of booths, only two were open so it took “forever” to get through.

Took the local train into Sentrum. Didn’t find an explanation but the station has an unusual installation of horses hanging around.

As you can imagine Norway is in mourning for King Harald. Posters everywhere at the airport and I imagine we’ll see many more tributes in the coming days.
