We’ve had a great time being with Kieran, doing lots of things and meeting some of his friends

A quiet day on Saturday with some shopping and dinner with friends. During the shopping trip we saw an “interesting” suit.

Sunday - Went to a canoe race at Royal and met more friends afterwards. Not sure what category the geese were in but they weren’t phased by all the boat traffic.

Monday - Hopped on the train (expensive) in to Waterloo to go to the Imperial War Museum and a wander around, followed by a Chinese meal with another friend, Ryan. The Holocaust display was very good.

Tuesday - a shopping trip to Woking by train, looking for some nice shoes for Kieran proved fruitless but there were some interesting statues scattered around. Back in Addlestone deciding on dinner- Alison had seen a poster with lamb cutlets so had a look but needed a mortgage, the second place took so long to even look like they might possibly think about taking our order and ended up at a little Turkish cafe for a meal of very tasty meats. More than enough!

Wednesday. Going home day. Not flying until this evening. Repacked the suitcases, then round to Kieran’s to relax. A & K went for a walk to say hello to the ancient tree and then back to relax before heading to the airport.

A great trip - we’ve been to lots of places and seen lots of interesting things but the best bit is being with Kieran!
