Not a good day to be on the high seas - rain and a head wind - but good company for our first whole day of boating to Narbonne. The canal isn’t very wide and neither are the bridges and locks however we made it in mostly one piece (a couple of scrapes off the boat) and during the day tried to rescue some French people that had run aground. Alas our boat weren’t strong enough ( that’s another story) and we left them and they eventually got off the snag. It was a bit scary as they were on the high edge of a weir and we were being swept towards it too.
