We said goodbye to Collioure and had an uneventful trip to Capestang. Found our delightful bnb and had a wander around the town.

Had a drink in the square while we waited for 6 pm - there was a guided tour (only on Saturdays) of the church including going up outside on the upper levels to see the view. Lovely intense coloured windows. The church was started in 11th Century in Romanesque style then added to in 14th Century in the gothic style. Very interesting.

Then we went to dinner at the restaurant recommended by our hosts and had a lovely dinner and complimentary drink. Live music started across the square. There was a party to celebrate the opening of a bar on the other side. While we were making our way across a bunch of feral looking but jovial people arrived in procession with their musical accompaniment and started dancing in the square. Phillip got roped into dancing by one of them. They disappeared after a while and the live music resumed. A very happy night.
